Women's Clinics Drive Growth

Thanks to support from Community Bank Buninyong, Buninyong Golf Club has strengthened participation across its membership, especially among women, and delivered a season of great golf.
Funding went towards women’s clinics and sponsorship of club tournaments, with notable impact in three key areas:
Membership growth: Seven new women members joined and are now active in competition golf — boosting the club’s women’s participation by over 10 per cent.
Social engagement: Many clinic participants now play social rounds regularly, building confidence and community on the course.
Tournament success: Over 300 players took part in club events, including around 150 golfers from across Victoria who played on the Community Bank Buninyong sponsored day — a highlight of the club’s calendar.

The investment has not only grown the club’s membership but also boosted social activity and regional engagement, reinforcing Buninyong Golf Club as a welcoming place for players of all ages and experience levels.
