The Ballarat Regional Tennis Centre (BRTC) is buzzing with life with more kids learning, more families staying and a clubhouse that’s become a real community asset.
With the launch of the new Hotshot Musketeer Program, junior players aged 3 to 18 now have a fun and fully equipped pathway into the sport. From junior-sized racquets to Hotshot balls, coaching gear, targets and nets, every detail has been designed to help young players grow in a safe, structured environment. This all the result of Community Bank Buninyong support.
New tennis and pickleball nets have lifted the playing experience for everyone, improving safety, expanding access and allowing the Centre to host bigger community sessions and competitions.
Inside the clubhouse, the upgrades include a new children’s play zone, table tennis and soccer tables, and updated blinds have turned the space into a welcoming spot for families. There's even plans to host an Australian Open viewing fundraiser in 2026.
This is community banking in action and Community Bank Buninyong is rapt to support a progressive organisation such as BRTC.
BRTC Manager Vincent Stouff said, “Community Bank Buninyong has helped us create a more vibrant, welcoming and community-focused club. These improvements mean kids stay longer, families enjoy spending time together and our centre feels more alive than ever.”
Community Bank Buninyong's Partnership Lead Kelly Bevan said it’s exactly the kind of impact the branch loves to see.
“It’s not just about the sport, it’s about giving people a place to belong. When local clubs thrive, the whole community feels it", she said.
